This is best used when you want the customer to only see one price for one entry fee on their receipt/ statement. Then you can disperse on the backend after the event is over.
How to Disperse Entry Fees to Other Line Items
Set up an Inventory Item for Event Entry. For Example, Sim League Fee for $20.
You would ring up each player that comes in through Quick Order. If we have 20 players, that is $400.00.
At the end of the day, for example, the first $15 of that $20 that each player already paid is a rental fee, go into Quick Order again, we illustrate using a Kit*, named Sims League Rental Disbursement. This shows the Rental Fee coming out of the League fee and "paying" the Rental Fee. Just click on the item on the right, to change the quantity.
Do this for both items. It's zero's out the balance.
After this is completed, you will have $100.00 left of the money completed. (Based on this example).
To disperse the prize money go to Quick Order, pull up the player that won. Choose Club Credit as the item and click on it on the right side, then, in the box that pops up, fill in the amount. If they won $50, fill in that amount and save.
To offset this, you will also add the item for the Prize Money. Click on that on the right side, and this time in the box that pops up, add the amount, in this case $50, then use a NEGATIVE QUANTITY of -1.
This will offset, make the amount due 0.00.
Press Continue; on the final screen, press FINALIZE to put on the players account.
